BNDES will develop a PPP (Public-Private Partnership) project for the Tapajós River region (PA).
The objective is to attract the private sector to a development hub that covers Alter do Chão and Beterra, taking advantage of the great visibility with the holding of COP30 in Belém, in 2025.
BNDES’ participation was discussed on Thursday (14) in a meeting between Aloizio Mercadante, president of the bank, and the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino.
“The Tapajós Pole can be a world tourist center. It has nature, communities and cultural traditions. Let’s see how the private sector can enter, just as we did with Jericoacoara (CE) and are doing with several other national parks in Brazil “, said Mercadante.
