LDU and Fluminense This Thursday (29), they made the decision for the Recopa Sul-Americana 2024. Flu took the title after winning 2 at Maracanã, with two goals from John Arias. In the first leg, the Ecuadorian team had won 1-0.

With four titles (1990, 2005, 2006 and 2008), the Boca Juniors is the biggest winner in Recopa history, followed by rival River Plate (3). The competition was played for the first time in 1989 and brings together the champions of the Sudamericana and Libertadores from the previous year.
