Copa do Brasil Men’s Under-17: São Paulo/AP faces Paysandu (PA) in the first phase of the competition – News of Brazil

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released the basic table for the Copa do Brasil Menina U-17 2024. The competition starts on February 28th, with the grand final scheduled for May 1st.
In the competition, Amapá will be represented by São Paulo/AP and will play on February 28th against Paysandu (PA). The time and location of the match have not yet been defined by the CBF. If they win, the Amapá team will face the winner of the game between Maranhão (MA) and Batalhão (TO).
São Paulo/AP won a place in the competition for having lifted the U-17 Amapaense Championship trophy, after beating Independente 4-0.
The governor Clécio Luís and the state secretary of Sports and Leisure (Sedel), Rudney Cunha, supported the São Paulo/AP players with the delivery of sports materials. The Club’s president, Adenos ‘Padeirinho’ thanked the team for their support.
The championship has 32 clubs from the 27 Federations seeking the title and will be divided into five phases, following the “knockout” format. In the last edition, in 2023, Palmeiras was the great champion, becoming four-time champions of the Copa do Brasil U17, isolating itself as the biggest winner of the competition.
