25th Festival de Cirandas de Manacapuru: Meeting defines last adjustments

Culture, health, safety, mobility and traffic were among the subjects discussed in a meeting with bodies involved in the festival

Manacapuru (AM) – The last alignments of the joint operationalization that involves state, municipal agencies and partner institutions for the realization of the 25th Festival of Cirandas de Manacapuru, took place this Thursday (24/08), in the auditorium of the headquarters of the Military Police Command of the municipality (distant from 68 kilometers from Manaus). The festival will be held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September, at Parque do Ingá, the Cirandódromo.

The popular party, which moves Manacapuru, is hosted by the cirandas Flor Matizada, Guerreiros Mura and Tradicional, and receives the support of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy and the City Hall of Manacapuru.

In addition to promoting regional culture, folkloric diversity and preserving the tradition of cirandas, the festival has an impact on other aspects, as quoted by the Secretary of Culture, Marcos Apolo Muniz.

“The importance of the festival goes beyond valuing the culture and identity of the municipality, we are talking about the generation of opportunity, work, employment and income. The heated economy and tourism valued by the realization of such an important event both for the city and for the culture of the state”,

highlights the secretary.

This Thursday’s meeting, motivated by the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), was attended by members of cultural associations, representatives of health, traffic, social assistance, security and other bodies committed to the success of the 25th Festival Cirandas de Manacapuru.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Alisson Botelho, head of the Integrated Planning Department of the Joint Executive Secretariat for Planning and Integrated Security Management (Seagi), the meeting motivated dialogue and defined the work team’s performance.

“The attributions of each body involved within the scope of public safety, health, mobility and traffic were discussed, articulating the needs, implementing this planning so that next week we can validate the Integrated Tactical Plan, activate the Integrated Command Center and Control and start activities so that we have a brilliant festival in the year 2023”,

Cirandas and attractions

On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September, from 21:30 to 00:00, the cirandas will perform in Parque do Ingá, following the order: Flor Matizada, Guerreiros Mura and Tradicional, respectively.

Among the innovations this year is the location of the shows on the alternative stage, which returns to the parking lot of the bus station in Manacapuru. “We want to congratulate the cirandas of Manacapuru for the beautiful work that they are preparing to brighten and present to the public that will be filling the stands of Parque do Ingá. It will certainly be three nights with beautiful shows”, concludes secretary Marcos Apolo.
