2023 Club World Cup to be played in Jeddah

Matches take place between December 12th and 22nd
The city of Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia, was officially announced this Monday (26th) as the venue for the 2023 Club World Cup. Sports King Abdullah and Prince Abdullah al-Faisal, with capacities for 62,000 and 32,000 people respectively, will split the matches.
Seven clubs will fight for the title in the matches that take place between December 12th and 22nd. According to the organization, this year the World Cup will follow the traditional model: the champions of each continent plus Al-Ittihad, champion of the Saudi League and who will represent the host country. The participant from South America, via Libertadores, has not yet been defined.
But, the current format is not guaranteed for 2024. At first, what is confirmed is that the new dispute model, with 32 teams, will take place from 2025, and the first edition will be held in the United States. For this competition, Flamengo and Palmeiras are already guaranteed.
