On Saturday (9), the Mamba Negra underground party had just over 50 people. The attraction competed with rockers Foo Fighters, on the main stage, and funk singer MC Don Juan, at Factory. In terms of quorum, it was far below both. Don Juan’s show was packed. There were hundreds of people there. Obviously, not in the same proportion as the Foo Fighters audience, but undoubtedly significantly larger than the DJ attractions. At about a kilometer and a half away from the main festival area, the electronics stage is the furthest from the event, which also contributes to a smaller audience compared to others. “I wish I had seen more things on the electronics stage, but it’s a long journey to get here”, said Ana Vitoria, a student of Literature, during the Black Mamba show. She says that she preferred the party to the Foo Fighters because she barely knew the band. Perhaps, if New Dance Order’s last performances were after the headliners, their audience could be more significant. At least it would match the energy of “after” so famous in the electronic scene.
