Senacon (National Consumer Secretariat) initiated administrative proceedings against 123milhas. The opening is based on evidence of violations of the law of systemic breach of contracts.

The company will have 20 days to present its defense and, if any irregularity is identified, the company may suffer sanctions such as fines, bans on selling products or services.

The information appears in the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday (19).

123milhas had filed for judicial recovery (RJ) at the end of August. However, the process was suspended by the courts on September 20. In the same month, MaxMilhas, another company that belongs to the founders and brothers Ramiro and Augusto Júlio Soares Madureira, also entered RJ.

On October 9th, the CPI das Pirâmides Financeiras asked for the indictment of the partners of 123milhas, as shown in a report by Sheet. The company “vehemently denies that it has acted as a financial pyramid or that its actions can even be compared to that of a financial institution”.

Senacon also ordered Hotel Urbano to provide clarifications on its financial situation within five days to fulfill the packages sold.

This is because the company has resumed selling packages with flexible dates that are similar to those that were previously suspended by the agency as a precautionary measure.

The company has five days to provide clarifications. In case of non-compliance, you may face a daily fine of R$50,000 and even suspension of services.
