After three years of trying, what she feels most is relief. “I won’t miss pushing myself so much and having to deal with the anxiety and nervousness of knowing that my future depended on a test”, she says. According to the new UFF freshman, her list of secrets to be approved includes the following practices, adopted since 2020: ⌚ study 12 hours a day (from 8 am to 8 pm), including Saturdays and Sundays; ✏️ write at least one text per week (you don’t even need to excel in mathematics to conclude that the young woman wrote more than 150 dissertations in that period); ✌️ maintain emotional balance during Enem, even in the face of difficulties in controlling test time. Ana Alice finished high school in 2019, at a private school in Rio de Janeiro, and since then has studied full-time at the PB Curso (pre-university preparation for medicine). “Little by little, discipline became easier. I focused a lot on exact sciences. In the Enem, I got a 903.6 in mathematics”, she says. What will become of that notebook, now that the student has been approved at the university she dreamed of? “It will be kept in my room, so I can always remember the effort and dedication in these three years of preparation.” After turning this page, Ana Alice anxiously awaits the start of classes at UFF. “I want to meet my professors and my colleagues, and live all possible experiences. The expectation is huge”, she says.
