10 teams compete in the Men’s and Women’s State Field Soccer Trials – News of Brazil

The State School Selection of Men’s and Women’s Field Soccer, carried out by the Amapaense Federation of School Sports (Fan of), started this Monday (23) and continues until next January 30. The matches take place in the morning and afternoon, at the Training Center of the Trem Desportivo Clube, located on Rodovia Josmar Pinto.
The competition features eight men’s and two women’s teams. The athletes are from schools in the municipalities of Laranjal do Jari, Ferreira Gomes, from the São Joaquim and Santa Luzia Communities in the District of Pacuí and Macapá.
The teams are made up of student-athletes aged between 15 and 18, from public and private schools in the state. The winners qualify for the 2023 Brazilian School Championship, which will take place in March in Tocantins (female) and Pernambuco (male).
“The winning teams will be awarded trophies and medals, in addition to travel, accommodation and food to compete in the National Championship, representing Amapá”explains the president of Fade, Rogerio Moreira.
The sporting event has the support of the Secretary of State for Sports and Leisure (Sedel), of the Amapaense Football Federation (FAF) and the Sports Train Club.
