‘World Rock Day’ has free concerts in Ponta Negra; see schedule

Event starts at 6pm
The City of Manaus promotes a special program at the beach house Zezinho Corrêa, located in the tourist complex of Ponta Negra, West Zone, in reference to “World Rock Day”, celebrated this Thursday (13).
The celebration starts at 6 pm, with a performance by the hard rock and heavy metal band Strangers; the bumbá rock group Essence and the pop rock band Official 80. At 8 pm, the cover band The Beatles, official from Brazil, makes a special presentation, recalling the main successes of the British band.
“It’s another complete program, which we’re going to promote at the Zezinho Corrêa beach house. This space, which has been active for more than two months, is already consolidating itself as an important landmark for tourism, culture and entrepreneurship for our city”, highlighted the head of Semtepi, Radyr Júnior.
In addition to this Thursday’s presentations, Ponta Negra will receive special regional and national attractions this weekend, which will be announced in the coming days.
