Notices

Fapeam resources are estimated to support up to 75 projects

More than R$ 5.5 million are being invested by the State Government, through the Research Support Foundation of the State of Amazonas (Fapeam) in the Support Programs for Post-Doctors (Prodoc), Support for Post-Graduate Students Outside of the State of Amazonas (Posgfe) and Support for Incubators (Pró-Incubadoras), in addition to Tecnova III, the latter in partnership with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), through the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep) .

The Programs offer opportunities to support research, researchers and undergraduate and graduate students. The estimate is to support up to 75 projects.

The Postdoctoral Support Program (Prodoc/Fapeam) aims to grant postdoctoral scholarships in the country and abroad to interested parties, residents of Amazonas, who will develop research projects that aim to contribute significantly to the expansion of science, technology and innovation in all areas of knowledge. Public notice No. 016/2023 estimates support for up to 20 research projects. Learn more at

The Support Program for Postgraduate Students outside the State of Amazonas (Posgfe) aims to grant a master’s and doctoral scholarship to interested parties, residing in the state for more than four years, enrolled in a stricto sensu postgraduate course, in the recommended by the Coordination Foundation for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes) in other states of the Federation, in strategic areas related to the Pluriannual Plan 2020-2023 of the Government of the State of Amazonas. Public notice No. 013/2023 estimates support for up to 20 research projects, 10 for granting master’s scholarships and 10 for doctorates. Learn more at

The Incubator Support Program (Pró-Incubadoras) finances the structuring, development and interaction of new and existing business incubators, so that they are aligned with the Model of Reference Centers for Supporting New Enterprises (Cerne), in a way to expand, expressively, the number and quality of innovative undertakings in the Amazon. Public notice No. 011/2023 estimates support for up to 10 research projects. Learn more at

Public Call

In partnership with MCTI and Finep, Fapeam also makes Public Call Nº 002/2023 available for the accreditation of internationalization agencies, offices and institutions for services to companies to benefit from the National Support Program for Technological Innovation (Tecnova III) .

The Public Call aims to select business proposals for economic subsidy for research and development of innovative processes and/or products in Amazonas, which involve significant technological risk associated with market opportunities within the themes. The deadlines, eligibility criteria and necessary documentation of the notices and public call must be carefully observed by the candidates for the vacancies offered. Entries are made through the Fapeam Information Management System (SigFapeam), located in the “Services” menu of the Fapeam portal.
