Gasoline A sold to distributors rose from R$ 2.52 to R$ 2.93, an increase of 16.2%. In the case of diesel A, the average price rises by R$ 0.78 per liter, from R$ 3.02 to R$ 3.80, an increase of 25.8%.
The rise in values comes amid concerns about the risk of shortages in the sector. Petrobras says that the increase in oil prices and the fact that the company is at the limit of its operational optimization made the readjustment necessary for fuels.
