Several medical entities published notes in defense of homeopathy and psychoanalysis and repudiation of statements made by microbiologist Natalia Pasternak in interviews for the promotion of her new book.

Written in partnership with journalist Carlos Orsi, “What nonsense! Pseudosciences and Other Absurdities That Don’t Deserve to Be Taken Seriously” (ed. Contexto) classifies popular practices in Brazil as non-scientific, such as homeopathy, astrology, acupuncture and psychoanalysis.

Psychoanalysts have written articles in defense of the practice. To better understand the positions of psychoanalysts in relation to the book, presenter Isabella Faria receives psychoanalyst Paulo Beer on Como é que é? this Tuesday (8), at 18 pm.

Streamed live from the newsroom of Sheetin the center of São Paulo, the TV Folha program airs from Monday to Friday, through the newspaper’s channels on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Twitch.
