The song was written by WD in partnership with composers Umberto Tavares, Jefferson Júnior and Stefan Baby. WD and Wanessa Camargo give an interview to g1 Marcelo Gaudio The invitation for Wanessa WD began in music as a child in Campinas, but gained national notoriety by performing her song “Eu Sou” on the reality show The Voice Brasil. From this participation, Wanessa met the artist and invited him to participate in her electric trio at Carnival. “Since I met him, I was amazed at the amount of talent within this person with this explosive vocal power”, says Wanessa. From carnival to some karaoke nights, the two became closer. From this partnership came friendship and, now, the invitation to do the “feat”. “Then he called me to show me a song, but he said, friend, see how you liked this song and showed me the song “Who are you”? I heard it and said “Wow, I loved it, what a cool mix'” he says. It was at this moment that it was time for WD to invite Wanessa to a partnership “so let’s sing this song along”. The museum and the city During a conversation with g1, WD spoke of the importance of Campinas for his training and highlighted that the choice to bring the production of this clip to the city was a way he found to show that the place exists, leaving the exclusive circuit of the capital of São Paulo. “The people here in São Paulo interior have more difficulty expanding to the capital and we can do this opposite movement of bringing such great artists here as a form of gratitude for what the museum and the city, the metropolitan region of Campinas, did for me”, he highlights. WD was already in the building when he was still at the beginning of his professional career. “This museum opened up my doors when no one knew me to be able to record such an important single in my life, ‘Eu Sou’”, says WD. Although she is from Goiás, Wanessa Camargo recalled her relationship with the Campinas region, especially the Chitãozinho farm that she visited as a child.
