Ryan Vasquez is the Venezuelan singer who has lived in the south of Amazonas for more than 5 years
Manaus (AM) — Gregorio Rafael Vasquez Azacon, known as Ryan Vasquez, was born in Barcelona — Anzóategui State in Venezuela — on September 20, 1993, son of Dona Carmen Felicia Azacon pericana and Mr. Gregorio Rafael Vasquez Fuente. Ryan Vasquez is a Venezuelan singer and songwriter who entered Brazil in 2016, through Pacaraima (RR), living on the streets for 3 months in Boa Vista. Vasquez earned money singing in diners and pizzerias.
In 2017, together with four colleagues he decided to travel to Manaus, the journey on foot and hitchhiking lasted several days, where he rested in the municipalities of Rorainópolis, Nova Colina and Presidente Figueiredo (AM).
Career in Amazonas
In Manaus, the Venezuelan singer performed near the Teatro Amazonas, in the city’s Historic Center. After a month, the artist continued his journey to Porto Velho via BR319, during which time he met Careiro Castanho (AM), where he lived for 3 months working as a singer and cafeteria attendant.
The singer and composer decides to leave Manaus with his Venezuelan colleagues and take a boat to the municipality of Humaitá, with the aim of reaching Porto Velho.
After meeting Humaitá, Ryan Vasquez finds economic and emotional stability. In 2020, he recorded his first songs, establishing himself as a new artist in Humaitá, in the interior of Amazonas.
