Traditional Folk Festival of the CSU of Manaus starts this Friday (9)

Event for the whole family will take place until July 9th with various folkloric performances, typical food, amusement park and musical attractions

Manaus (AM) – Anarriê! Because at the Centro Social Urbano (CSU) in Parque Dez, in the Center-South Zone of Manaus, preparations for the traditional Folk Festival are already in full swing. Stalls with typical food, amusement park, musical attractions and free entry. The event, for the whole family, starts this Friday (9th) and runs until July 9th, starting at 6 pm.

The organizing committee of the fair informs that, this year, the CSU Folk Festival will have two stages for presentations.

“On one stage, there will be presentations of folk dances and, on the other, musical attractions. As always, an event with all the infrastructure for the Amazonian family to feel welcomed and with fun for all”.

The CSU Folkloric Festival in Parque Dez, reaches its 42nd edition and has the cultural support of Manaus City Hall, through Manauscult.

In addition to folk dances, among the attractions confirmed for the first weekend are: Nathalia Lima, Forró Já Kero, Kayza Marques, Forro Genial, Léo Cristian and Forró Xotezim.

In all, about 60 musical attractions and more than 80 dances should take to the stages of the 42nd CSU Folk Festival in Parque Dez.

Guidance

The coordination of the event suggests that, if possible, for greater mobility and to avoid harassment by opportunists who usually charge exorbitant amounts for parking, anyone who can go to the location, through an app service, is recommended.

There will also be a space for disembarking and boarding taxi passengers and app cars.

The coordination also informs that parking inside the CSU will be limited to participants who will work at the event and need to unload goods.

About the November CSU

The CSU at Parque Dez de Novembro is a center for sports and social activities that has been in existence for 46 years. It is the stage for traditional events with the Folk Festival, Bloco das Piranhas and Summer Festival. It has a wide leisure area with courts, walking area, soccer fields, toys and swimming pool available to the population, in addition to kiosks and regional food stalls.
