Between October 25th and November 19th, a group of 50 lucky Brazilian tourists will board a Boeing 757-200 in full business class configuration for a tour around the world. The trip is part of a new program from the tourism company Latitudes entitled “Ancient Civilizations and the Routes of the New World”.

The route will be flown by an aircraft rented from the Icelandic airline Icelandair and will begin in Campinas, in the interior of São Paulo, according to the schedule already included in the flight base authorized by ANAC. Eight countries will be visited over 26 days, including Chile, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, India, Tanzania, Saudi Arabia and Spain.

On October 24th, the aircraft will be positioned in Campinas, on a flight from Sal Island, with landing scheduled for 12:50 pm local time. The aerial part of the tour, with tourists on board, begins on October 26th at 9:45 am, with takeoff towards Mendoza (Argentina) for refueling and, then, towards Easter Island.

On board the aircraft, in addition to the crew and passengers, there are also experts, such as historians Luiz Estevam Fernandes, photographer Adriano Gambarini and the trip’s doctor, Dr. Fábio Lambertini Tozzi. The price per person is US$148 thousand, equivalent to R$751 thousand.
