The first wall of “Big Brother Brasil 23” hasn’t even been formed yet, but there are already people wanting to see Fred and Aline Wirley facing each other. No bullshit happened between them in confinement. But the fact is that among the crowd of celebrities, the one on the sports commentator’s side has Tiago Leifert and the singer’s side has the actor Ícaro Silva. The two starred in a recent fight and it was even left over for the reality show.

“Guys, just imagine this wall”, wrote the influencer Preta Demais, on Twitter, receiving more than 15 thousand likes. “It will be Bruna x Neymar”, joked a follower. “I loved it (laughs). But the two look sweet”, relieved a fan. “Hey, Ícaro now watches ‘BBB'”?, mocked a spectator. “If Tiago is on one side, I’m on the other”, spiced up the dispute another netizen.

Leifert announced support for Fred by posing with the T-shirt of Bianca Andrade’s ex-husband’s fans. In the caption, he included: “I left the ‘BBB’ and now I’m going to pull a joint effort. What a phase”, he joked. Ícaro responded to those who recalled that he called the reality show “mediocre entertainment”.

“And I’ll keep calling”, said Ícaro, which caused laughter among the fans. The actor later responded to a comment that said “you can be mediocre and still fun. And that’s okay.” “Isn’t that true?” agreed the actor.

Ícaro, who recently left the soap opera “Cara e courage”, also amused fans by trying to understand the dynamics of the reality show. Afterwards, he mocked those who still criticized him for the statements given at the end of 2021.

“I love the importance you guys give me. I do. I feel like the Naomi Campbell of the 2000s: powerful, badass and too hot to handle.”

remember the fight

The fight between Ícaro Silva and Tiago Leifert began after the actor denied that he would participate in “BBB 22” with a phrase considered controversial.

“Guys, respect my history, my trajectory, my hatred for mediocre entertainment and my repulsion for sharing a bathroom. Stop believing this absurd story that I would consider going to Big Boster Brasil”, said the actor.

The former presenter of the program returned the pin.

“My peace was interrupted by a tweet. You are an excellent actor. However, your opinion on reality shows is not constructive criticism and, rather, just a gratuitous aggression towards someone who has never harmed you (by the way, how we probably pay your salary) (…) Respect our history, our teams and the entertainment we provide If you really believe in what you wrote, you should be an adult and never again accept work from any company that promotes entertainment that you think is bad. How about it? What’s your plan for 2022? Any soap operas? Maybe it’s time to rethink, not mix with inferior products. Go steady and happy new year”, said Tiago Leifert.

Among all the analyses, Leifert’s phrase about “paying the salary” generated immediate repercussions. Ícaro clarified the criticism of the reality show, saying that it was intense and dramatic in the first text, but he took the opportunity to return the pinpricks about projects he had in progress.

“I deeply respect the trajectory of those who have been on reality shows and knew how to propel themselves in the direction of their dreams. As much as I am not an enthusiast of the entertainment that reality shows of this type provide, I do not even have the moral capacity to question who, for his own reasons, embarks on this proposal (…) My opinion, expressed, I confess, with a certain anger concerns the culture of human exposure and exploitation to the extreme of which the confinement realities survive, but also the moral baseness of the ‘press ‘ of gossip, which insists on using my name to spread fake news. At the beginning of the year, I have beautiful and special projects that I will soon share with you and I don’t want to be a victim of parasitic speculation in this type of vehicle, although there is an audience to consume them. I was dramatic and intense in my way of expressing myself and for that I apologize to my mother, sister and my friends who were extremely concerned by the outpouring of hate from the networks you are social. I conclude by deeply thanking my ‘ex-Bbbs’ friends who have called or sent me messages of support and understanding. Only those who live the “show business”.

Tiago Leifert released a video days later to try to close the matter. The presenter criticized the lines for being taken out of context and explained that he was overcome with emotion when making the first statement.

“I think you must be fed up with the subject by now. (…) I thought I had written something super obvious, but what I said was thrown into a place that is not mine, places that were not what I said. I was attacked because of my religion, because of my family and I never did that. I didn’t attack anyone’s family, nature, background. (…) I wanted to regret that what I said was used to hurting people who have nothing to do with the matter. I am very sorry that what I did, defending my colleagues and my work, was used to hurt other people. It was not my intention, but this is not a request for apologies. I’m just really sorry, I’m sad. I would like to end by thanking everyone who defended me and saying that I no longer work at Globo. And even so, for the “Big Brother” team, which changed my life, and for the public of the show, I would do anything. I’m extremely grateful for everything we’ve been through these last five years together and have I am immensely proud of what we represent in the history of Brazilian television. And that serves as an example throughout this history, the behavior of this team: we never needed to diminish anyone to feel superior, talk about anyone’s work so that we could enjoy our success”.
