The Encontro das Águas series closes registration for the Cosplay Contest for the show ‘Natsukashii’ this Friday

Manaus (AM) – Registration for the Cosplay Contest for the show “Natsukashii” runs until this Friday (23/06) and can be done online. The activity is part of the program of the Encontro das Águas Series, an initiative of the Government of the State of Amazonas through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy.
The event promotes an exchange between the cultural universes of pop and classical music, the contest is organized by Casa Geek 42 in partnership with Geek Jukebox. Cosplays of all genders and any age group can participate in the contest, as long as the cosplay is based on Japanese anime and manga works. Minors must be accompanied by their respective guardians.
There are 40 vacancies available that will be closed after the deadline that ends at 23:59 this Friday. After the registration stage, the selection stage will follow, which will take place online, through battles on the Casa Geek 42 profile on the collective’s own Instagram. The winners of this stage participate in the face-to-face selective that will also be eliminatory.
Battle Schedule
The first round takes place between the 26th and 29th of June, always at noon with daily selections among the 40 cosplayers selected after registration, there will be four groups of 10 cosplayers divided into five stories per day. There will be 20 selected for the quarterfinals, result will be at 18h.
The quarterfinals will also be in the form of virtual battles and follow the same model and schedule as the first round, between June 30th and July 1st. The semifinal is scheduled for July 3rd in a selection between ten cosplayers, the final takes place on July 6th, at 8 pm during the show “Natsukashii”, from the Encontro das Águas Series.
