Women award winners Billie Eilish won the song of the year category for “What Was I Made For?”, a track written for the soundtrack to the film “Barbie”. Miley Cyrus won record of the year and pop solo performance with “Flowers.” The title of new artist went to R&B and pop singer Victoria Monet. The winners were chosen by the musicians, producers, engineers and others who make up the Recording Academy. The group has been working to bring more diversity to the awards.
