Tarcísio anticipates server salaries at Easter – 05/04/2023 – Panel SA

The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, decided to bring forward the payment of the salaries of public servants in the state to this Thursday (6).
Remuneration, which normally takes place on the fifth business day of each month, would only be carried out on the 10th, due to the Easter holiday.
The gesture caught the attention of civil servants because this is the first holiday in the Tarcísio government that coincides with the payment calendar and could mean a trend for the next dates. In the last administrations, the practice was not very common.
The benefit is valid for 1.1 million employees of state secretariats and municipalities, in addition to inactive workers and pensioners.
