Tap Tap celebrates 6 years with exclusive beers – 01/12/2024 – Full Glass

At the beginning of 2018, Carlos Lima opened the taproom Tap Tap, on the corner of Praça Roosevelt and Rua da Consolação, in the center of São Paulo — taprooms serve beers straight from the tap, but do not produce on site.
With six years on the road, the small and pleasant space with 16 taps and industrial-style decor remains firmly on the city’s beer trail and has even gained a branch, in Perdizes (one Minhocão away, as Carlão jokes).
To celebrate its sixth anniversary, this Saturday (13th) the house brings labels from old partners and exclusive new products, such as Harmony, the first sour smoothie from Cervejaria Hankzbier, from Minas. Lactose-free, the drink contains 43% blended fruits, such as acerola, passion fruit and mango, and marshmallow, which adds texture to the beer. This is the only barrel from the brewery in São Paulo, so it’s worth checking out.
Cervejaria Tarin, also from Minas Gerais, has two labels with terpenes, including the double Neipa Nostalgia 2023, with 8.3% alcohol and hops that refer to sweeter fruits.
Captain Brew, from Uberlândia (yes, you can say it’s almost a Minas Gerais party), delivers an imperial stout with coffee and hazelnuts and 13.8% alcohol to the event (could be a good nightcap).
But there are beers available from other corners, such as an American IPA from Koch Beer (Paraná); or a strong ale aged in a cachaça barrel from Rio Grande do Sul, Devaneio do Velhaco.
If in doubt, just ask one of the attendants for help, often Carlão himself, and make a birthday toast at the counter.
