Starts Exchange of wristbands for the Visitors’ Party in Parintins

Manaus (AM) – At the state school São José Operário, in Parintins (369 kilometers from Manaus), the queue formed in the early hours of Tuesday (06/27) to exchange non-perishable food for wristbands for the Visitors Party, which takes place on June 29, at the Bumbódromo. In all, 17,000 wristbands will be made available.

The action of the Government of Amazonas, through a partnership between the Secretariats of Culture and Creative Economy and the Secretariat of Social Assistance, continues until Thursday (29/06), from 8am to 2pm. At the exchange point, the dynamic consists of presenting a kilogram of non-perishable food or two items from the list of products, which are screened to check their validity. If approved, the donor presents the documents and the bracelet is placed immediately.

According to the Culture and Creative Economy secretary, Marcos Apolo Muniz, a number of wristbands will be made available during the three days of action.

“On Tuesday and Wednesday, we deliver something like 4,200 each day, and the rest on Thursday, when the party takes place at the Bumbódromo”,

said the holder of the folder.

Public

The expectation of living the party begins in line to exchange food. “I brought a bag of crackers and a preserve. I’m very anxious to see Ludmila and Simone Mendes, it’s going to be really cool”, said Idalma Mendes, 35, from Parintin, without hiding her anxiety.

The visual artist of the cattle circuit Vitório Oliveira, 51, shares the same opinion. “It’s a very good initiative to put on this show for us, here, in Parintins, who work at the Festival and for those coming from abroad as well. Honoring our wonderful festival”, says Vitório, accompanied by his wife and two children.

Daise Fernandes, 70, also showed disposition. She considers herself a huge fan of Simone Mendes.

“I’m in line to watch my cousin Simone”, Daise has fun, praising the initiative. “And I think it’s wonderful, many people, it’s good that our city, our country has improved, because everything was very sad”,

said the parintinese.

Logistics

For each donation, a CPF is registered to receive an access wristband, which has different colors, indicating the sectors available at the Bumbódromo: track (arena), Caprichoso crowd, Garantido crowd and side chairs.

Children from 10 years old can participate in the party accompanied by parents or guardians. When exchanging food, they must present the following documents: birth certificate or identification document with photo of minors. In addition, RG and CPF of parents or guardians.

According to the Secretary of Social Assistance, Selma Melo, in less than an hour, 500 wristbands were exchanged for food. She also points out that, on the Seas website, the public notice for the accreditation of CSOs (civil society organizations) to receive donations is available.

“On Monday, the accreditation public notice for CSOs that have to be from the city of Parintins was launched. They have to work with social assistance, because these foods will be donated to these institutions and, later, they will deliver these foods to families in social vulnerability”,

“It is also important to emphasize that, even if you do not want to participate in the party, you can make your donation. We are here receiving, merchants in the municipality can also donate, we are here”.

Visitors Party 2023

Promoted by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, Amazonense Agency for Cultural Development (AADC) and cultural support from Eneva, the party precedes the 56th Parintins Folk Festival (June 30, July 1 and 2) . For the first time, the party will be held at the Bumbódromo and will feature a 360º stage to host shows by Uendel Pinheiro, George Japa, David Assayag, Mickael, Jr Paulain, Rafa Militão, DJ Jorge Neto and national attractions, Ludmila and Simone Mendes .
