Manaus (AM) — The Solidarity Bazaar, an event on the fixed calendar of the Amazonas Legislative Assembly (Aleam), continues until Friday (1st), from 8am to 2pm, at the Escola do Legislativo Senador José Lindoso. Exhibitors from various segments participate in the Solidarity Bazaar, such as crafts, clothing and food; institutions such as Fazenda Esperança, Movimento Nação Mestiça and employees or their dependents.
Actions like this are part of the House’s calendar of events, as the president of Aleam, deputy Roberto Cidade (UB), states that the current Legislature is committed to going beyond the original mission of Parliament, which is to legislate and monitor the actions of the Executive .
“Our commitment is to the people, offering forms of qualification, entrepreneurship and access to culture”, said president Roberto Cidade, also remembering that the Escola do Legislativo Senador José Lindoso offers free training courses throughout the year in areas such as legislation, management, IT, among others.
Exhibitor Noemi Santana, who participates in the Bazaar every month selling food, says that the space is a time to boost sales and publicize her work, as she manages to attract customers. “In addition to the House’s employees, we managed to reach the public who visit Parliament, and thus get to know our work”, highlights the exhibitor.
