The start of negotiations promoted by the Desenrola Brasil program affects the country’s default indicators
Chosen by one of the main financial institutions in the country as a partner channel for negotiating part of the debts made available in the context of Band II of the Federal Government program, Serasa registered a 70% increase in the regularization of accounts in the first seven days of the government initiative compared to the same period of May and 61% in relation to June, when the numbers were already being impacted by the debate on the subject.
Between July 17th and 24th alone, the Serasa Limpa Nome platform brokered the negotiation of 1,198,147 debts. It is interesting to note, however, that a good portion of the negotiations are not part of the scope of the Unrolls Brazil, that is, not all are bank debts, as foreseen in Track 2 of the program.
“We noticed that the national debate on indebtedness increased the interest of Brazilians in regularizing their financial life in general”,
explained Matheus Moura, director of Serasa.
Bigger discounts
The greater demand is also explained by the opportunities generated by Desenrola Brasil itself, since financial institutions, creditors of Level 2 of the program, increased the percentage of discounts.
Only in negotiations with banks carried out via the Serasa application or website, the total volume of discounts reached BRL 973,996,026.00 – 97% higher than the same period in June.
“This volume of discounts proves how favorable the moment is for those who intend to negotiate debts and regain access to credit”,
says Aline Maciel, manager of the Clean Name platform.
