The National Commercial Learning Service (Senac) will turn 78 years old this Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Created in 1946 by the National Confederation of Commerce in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC), through Decree-Law No. 8,621 , Senac is the largest Professional Education organization in the country.

Maintained by businesspeople in the trade of goods, services and tourism, Senac, with its expertise, maintains its commitment to educational excellence, being a key agent in the process of preparing qualified professionals to face the challenges of the job market. Present in all Federation Units, the institution offers face-to-face and distance learning courses in various areas of knowledge, from Initial and Continuing Training to postgraduate studies, with a pedagogical model that strives for excellence in the development of skills such as: entrepreneurial attitude , technical-scientific mastery, critical vision, sustainable and collaborative attitude.

With units installed in Manaus, Borba, Coari, Itacoatiara, Manacapuru, Parintins and Tefé, Senac offers more than 90 course options every four months, always attentive to the professionalization needs of the market, in segments such as Beauty; Gastronomy; Management, Hospitality, IT, Fashion; Food production; Health and Tourism. Also noteworthy is the Senac Faculty of Technology, which offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses 100% in person.
In the challenge of taking professional education to the most distant regions, Senac also has the Balsa Escola – Mobile river unit – and three school trailers, in the tourism and hospitality, beauty and IT segments.

In 2023, the entity served more than 49 thousand people through courses, learning programs and other professional education options, including corporate service, always seeking to be an agent of transformation, teaching the first steps to many apprentices, developing teams, motivating entrepreneurs and strengthening companies.
