Research and mapping agent and collection and quality supervisor are the positions offered by the IBGE
Registration is open for two simplified selective processes with a total offer of 7,548 temporary vacancies from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). There are 6,742 chances for survey and mapping agent and 806 for collection and quality supervisor. Those selected will be initially contracted for one year of service, extendable for another two.
Both positions require a medium level of schooling, and collection and quality supervisors still need to have a definitive or provisional National Driver’s License (CNH), at least category B, within the validity period. Interested parties should notify the site of the Brazilian Institute of Training and Capacitation (IBFC), organizer of the selection, until 23:00 on July 19th. The registration fee for each selection costs R$ 42.20.
The objective tests of the two contests will be applied on the same day: September 17th. Candidates for the post of research and mapping agent will be asked questions on Portuguese Language (20), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (15), Ethics in the Public Service (5) and Geography (20). For the post of collection and quality supervisor, the questions will be Portuguese Language (14), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning (8), Ethics in the Public Service (5), Computer Basics (5), Administration Basics and Managerial Situations (14 ) and Geography (14).
Those approved will be officially announced on October 23. Research and mapping agents will receive a salary of BRL 1,387.50 and collection and quality supervisors, BRL 3,100. The working hours will be 40 hours a week, eight hours a day.
