The assistance benefits paid by Caixa Econômica Federal will be released again this Wednesday (22), after a four-day break in the Auxílio Brasil and Auxílio Gás calendar. Payments are no longer made on the Monday and Tuesday of Carnival as it is a bank holiday, when banks are closed.

For INSS (National Social Security Institute) insured persons, the resumption of retirement deposits, pensions and other benefits will take place this Thursday (23), when beneficiaries with final number 2 and the right to receive a minimum wage will have access to values.

Those who receive Auxílio Brasil and Auxílio Gás through social digital social savings can transfer money through Caixa Tem, an application through which it is possible to pay bills and make purchases, without having to go to the bank. To cash out, however, you need to look for a Caixa or lottery agency after generating a code.

The other citizens will be able to go to the Caixa agencies to withdraw the values, but only after noon, as the banks will be closed in the morning. Withdrawals can be made at ATMs or at lottery outlets with the Citizen’s Card, from 12:00h.

Payment of social benefits began last Monday (13). The release of values ​​occurs according to the end of the NIS (Social Identification Number). Families enrolled in the Auxílio Brasil receive a minimum amount of R$600. In the case of the Auxílio Gás, which is paid every two months, the voucher is R$112 in February.

INSS returns to pay benefits this Thursday (23)

The INSS interrupted the benefits payment schedule for five days this Carnival, from Saturday (18) until this Wednesday (22). The resumption of the release of values ​​will only be this Thursday (23), when retirees, pensioners and other beneficiaries will have access to the money.

Policyholders receive according to the end of the card, without considering the check digit. This farm’s payment will be made for a benefit ending in 2 in the amount of one minimum wage.

The sequence of releases continues until March 9th for those entitled to a national floor. The other beneficiaries, entitled to an amount greater than the minimum, receive from March 1st. The INSS pays benefits to 37 million policyholders in 2023.
