Secretariat of Culture of Amazonas opens notice to support folkloric festivities

Manaus (AM) – The Government in Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, opened an ordinance with the objective of financially supporting folkloric festivities open to the public held both in the capital and in the interior of the state. Registration for the concierge closes on July 7th at 17 pm.

The initiative aims to respond to requests for cultural support in holding public folkloric events that take place in the state of Amazonas at this time of the year, usually between June and August.

The public notice contemplates as “folkloric festivities” June parties, fairs, typical parties, fairs or folk festivals, among other festivities, that contribute to the development of cultural and artistic activities in the State of Amazonas, provided that they meet the requirements of the public notice.

In order to register, the applicant must present her personal documentation, such as RG, CPF and Proof of Residence, together with documentation that proves that she is the person hosting that festivity.

It is also necessary to present the event portfolio, and other authorizations and licenses related to public spaces, if necessary. In addition, it is necessary that the applicant has previously held at least three editions of the same event, to request the aid.

The legal adviser of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, Anne Paiva, points out the importance of sending the documentation within the established deadline.

“My main recommendation for people who want to sign up for this ordinance is not to leave it for the last minute, so that they can deliver the documentation in a timely manner and thus be able to resolve any eventualities that may arise in advance”,

indicates.

Requests must be sent to the official website of the Creative Secretariat, or to the website www.form.cultura.am.gov.br, containing the date of the event, full address of the venue, start and end time, and name and contact details phone numbers of the person in charge, accompanied by the aforementioned documentation, which can be found in more detail throughout the ordinance.

“Folkloric festivities are very traditional in our state. The intention of the Secretariat in releasing this ordinance is to bring more democratization to our regional culture in the Amazon”,
