Scientists are already starting to use artificial intelligence (AI) to predict which ingredients may be ideal to develop beers capable of pleasing tasters – and future consumers.
A Belgian study that analyzed 250 chemical profiles of the product shows that brewing under AI guidance increases consumer satisfaction.
Experts suggest that AI integration could hold promise for developing top-shelf beers, including non-alcoholic variants that mimic traditional flavors.
Scientists assure that this does not mean that AI is about to replace brewers.
