Saúde Ribeirinha brings free services to Rio Preto da Eva

Manaus (AM) – The Sesc Saúde Ribeirinha project will bring several free services to the community in the municipality of Rio Preto da Eva. Open to the public, the event will be held on November 18th, from 9am to 2pm, at the Ivanilde Braga Brandão Municipal School and the Basic Unit of Saúde Manoel Rodrigues Castelo, both located at Ramal Vila Manápolis.
Among the services that will be offered are: blood pressure measurement, blood glucose test, vaccination, medical care with a pediatrician, gynecologist and dentist, HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis tests, calculation of the Body Mass Index (BMI), myofascial release, massage , donation of basic food baskets, preventive collection, haircuts, eyebrow design, recreational activities, science room and the exchange of glasses lenses for those in need, through the Enxerga Mais project of the Rio Preto da Eva City Council.
“We will bring several services to Vila Manápolis that many people have difficulty accessing due to various factors, such as commuting to the city. This is a way to benefit those who need it most, fulfilling one of Sesc’s objectives of promoting quality of life and social well-being”,
explains the Regional Director of Sesc Amazonas, Adriana Nascimento.
About the project
The initiative, promoted by Sesc Amazonas, was created in 2022, considering the need to provide services that may be scarce in communities in the interior of the State. The first edition was held in May 2023, in the municipality of Careiro da Várzea. On that occasion, it served around 700 people with medical, aesthetic and recreational services.
In this second edition, the expectation is to serve even more people. On average, 2 thousand local residents will benefit from the activity. To achieve this, Sesc has partnerships with the National Commercial Learning Service (Senac), Rio Preto da Eva City Hall and the Air Force.
