São Paulo Invoice releases R$ 36.9 million in credits – 05/16/2023 – Market

A package of R$ 36.9 million in credits from the São Paulo Invoice was released this Tuesday (16) by the São Paulo Finance and Planning Department.

The amount refers to donations of tax coupons and purchases made in January of this year. According to the agency, individuals who included the CPF in the invoices were left with R$ 16.8 million. Charitable entities received R$ 19.6 million.

Taxpayers who are part of Simples Nacional have BRL 436.5 thousand, while condominiums have BRL 19.3 thousand. In total, the program has already allocated R$ 197 million in credits this year to those who registered.

To find out if you have received the credit, you must access the official Nota Fiscal Paulista application, enter your CPF or CNPJ, enter your registered password and request the desired option. Then, the amount can be transferred to a checking account or savings account with the name of the CPF or CNPJ holder. The operation can also be performed through the program’s website.

The amounts will be credited to the account indicated within 20 days and the minimum amount for transfer is BRL 0.99. The available credits remain available to the taxpayer for one year, with the term starting on the release date. Until 2021, the amount expired after five years, but there was a change in legislation, reducing this period.

See the step-by-step process to transfer credits from Nota Paulista

1. Access the website portal.fazenda.sp.gov.br/servicos/nfp
2. Enter your CPF and password, click on “I’m not a robot” and go to “Access”
3. On the next page, on the left side, above, your balance will appear. Go to “Withdraw”
4. Choose whether the credit will be in a checking account or a savings account
5. Check the registered account or register one; the bank account must be in your name
6. Then choose the amount you want to transfer, enter it in “Amount” and go to “Confirm”
7. A message will appear informing that the amount will be credited to the account informed within 20 days; click on “Make Transfer”
8. The system will provide a control number, write it down and click “OK”

FOR THOSE WHO FORGOT THE PASSWORD

Consumers who have forgotten their password must access the program’s website and click on “Forgot my password”. When typing your CPF and clicking “OK”, three options will be presented:

• Sending phrase to remember the password (by email)

• Sending a page address for registering a new password (by email)

• And finally, the option “Re-register”. The state suggests using this option as a last resort, for example, if the consumer has forgotten the password and changed the email. For security reasons, this option requires sending correspondence or going to Procon, Poupatempo or at the tax office of the Treasury Department (you need to schedule an appointment) to unlock the password. New credits expire each month, so consumers must make the transfer month by month. For those who are not yet registered in the Nota Fiscal Paulista, it is possible to register.
