Party for Santa Claus’s arrival begins with a performance of the brass band, starting at 3pm, with Christmas characters

Manaus (AM) – One of the most special periods of the year is approaching and, to lead the party, Amazonas Shopping welcomes, this Saturday (04), Santa Claus, a traditional Christmas character. To welcome the ‘good old man’, a great program will be carried out, starting at 3pm, with marching bands, an interactive show and a Christmas choir.

According to Amazonas Shopping Marketing Manager, Ivanna Passos, “Christmas of Lights”, as this year’s project was titled, will surprise the public.

“We brought the charm of Christmas, with traditional elements, such as colors, lights and balls, but in a different context, exploring the magic of the party. I’m sure it will be a very special Christmas,”

The party for Santa Claus’s arrival begins with the performance of the fanfare every 30 minutes, starting at 3 pm, with Christmas characters touring the mall and inviting the public to the big show, at Praça de Eventos Rio Negro, in the central corridor . There, from 5pm onwards, the Christmas choir will perform. Afterwards, the Metamorfose Theater Company promises to delight everyone with an interactive show, full of music and games.

The guest of honor, the good old man, will arrive at the Alameda Gourmet entrance to the shopping center, starting at 7pm. It will then welcome Christmas, traveling throughout the mall, until reaching Praça de Eventos Rio Negro, where it will be set up to welcome the public.

Santa Claus will remain at Amazonas Shopping until December 24th. It will welcome the public from Tuesday to Friday, from 5pm to 9pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 3pm to 5:30pm and from 6pm to 9pm.

Decoration

To welcome the good old man and the public, Amazonas Shopping prepared a special decoration. “Christmas of Lights” will delight children and adults, with the traditional colors of the season, red and gold. At Praça Rio Negro, there will be a 5 meter tall Santa Claus and a large Christmas tree full of lights, an ideal setting for photos of families and friends.

The mall will also have four Christmas stations, all decorated for the public to take photos. The spaces will be open from Friday (03), from 10am to 10pm. The stations will be located on Alameda Gourmet, in front of the Riachuelo store, on the second floor; in front of Foto Nascimento, on the first floor; and at Praça de Eventos Rio Solimões, close to Rei do Mate.
