Rua Covered in Capão da Canoa will be launched for interested parties on Saturday

The Rua Coberta de Capão da Canoa, which is located on the ground floor of the Life development, installed at Avenida Paraguassu, nº 1781, will be launched next Saturday, February 18th, for traders and investors in the Gastronomy sector. On the occasion, those interested in opening a unit at the site will learn about the details of the project.

The person behind the initiative is the entrepreneur Lindomar dos Santos, who has been working for over 40 years on the North Coast and in Gramado. He is even one of the participating partners of Snowland, in Serra.

After the closure of three large hotels on the coast in recent years, the Hotel Riograndense, the Hotel Atlântida and the Hotel Xangri-lá, Lindomar realized that there was a lack of an option for those looking to stay. Recently, Airbnb also announced that Capão da Canoa is the eighth most sought after city in the world for rentals.

These facts corroborated for Life, a development that mixes residential and commercial. There are 140 apartments in total, 100 of which will be sold and 40 will be leased. A car can also be used by guests, who will pay per kilometer traveled.

Rua Coberta is also to solve the issue of gastronomy. “We chose to build the mall to have this issue outsourced, open to the public and which will serve the apartments”, describes Lindomar. The investment in the complex, which includes 14 stores and seven kiosks, was R$ 45 million.

The stores should start operating in the second half of the year, while the completion of the building is expected by the end of the year. The development has a garage for both operations. A stage should also give visibility to local artists. “This question (of having a space open to the public) comes from this search for something different”, emphasizes the entrepreneur.
