Registration open for social work with Sesc Groups in Amazonas

Access to finance aims to support the growth of the sector and ensure its long-term viability
Manaus (AM) — Social Work with Groups at Sesc Amazonas is open for registration. The initiative foresees a series of activities aimed at elderly people, women and young people. Offered free of charge, the action aims to provide humanized and welcoming environments for these audiences, as explained by the Regional Director of Sesc Amazonas, Adriana Nascimento.
“Our aim is to develop good practices for well-being and the construction of life projects through various activities, including workshops, competitions, exchanges of experiences and informative and commemorative meetings”,
explains.
In total, there are 350 places distributed in the Sesc Balneário units (140 places), Sesc Ler Cidade Nova (90 places) and the Fausto da Conceição Ventura Activity Center (120 places), in Manacapuru. The meetings will take place once a week and start on March 4th.
New classes
Social Work with Women and Young People are unprecedented initiatives at Sesc Amazonas, created with the purpose of providing active participation in social activities, developing skills and strengthening the sense of belonging, in addition to being an alternative to occupying free time during the day with constructive activities.
Women aged between 18 and 54, and young people aged between 15 and 24, can enroll in these classes. For Social Work with the Elderly, those over 55 years of age can register;

Registrations can be made at the Customer Relationship Centers of the units of interest: Sesc Balneário, Av. Constantinopla, 288, Alvorada; Sesc Ler Cidade Nova, Rua Visconde de Itanhaém, 94; and Manacapuru Activity Center, Rua Waldemar Ventura, 450, Aparecida.
