Boa Vista do Ramos (AM) – Solar energy panels, development of tourist routes and launch of the tourist information service are part of the package of actions delivered by the Government of Amazonas, in the municipality of Boa Vista do Ramos (271 kilometers from Manaus). Through the State Tourism Company (Amazonastur), the municipality known as “land of honey”, received 16 solar energy panels from the Brilha Amazonas Program.

During the event, on Thursday (25), Amazonastur and the municipal executive launched new itineraries for two of the main tourist activities in Boa Vista do Ramos: the honey route and the pirarucu route. The tourist product was developed by Amazonastur and is planned to welcome tourists at all stages of the tour.

According to the president of Amazonastur, Ian Ribeiro, developing tourism in the interior of the Amazon is one of the institution’s goals. According to him, in addition to delivering the tourist organization for the honey and pirarucu routes, Amazonastur’s action benefited eight establishments that make their living from tourism, with the delivery of kits, which contain two solar panels, through the Brilha Amazonas Program.

“The inlandization strategy not only creates economic opportunities, but also produces tangible improvements in the quality of life for people living in the interior of the Amazon. With these collaborative and innovative actions, the partnership between the State Government, through Amazonastur, and the city halls is opening new horizons in tourism”,

said the president.

Benefiting from the Brilha Amazonas Program, created to encourage the use of clean energy in tourism, the owner of Restaurante Pimenta de Cheiro, Maria Doroteia Pinto, thanked the delivery and stated that the solar panels should reduce the energy bill and enable investments to expand service to tourists.

“Thank God, the Government has helped service providers in Boa Vista do Ramos to improve the cost of living here in the municipality and in my establishment. Our goal is to improve and serve tourists in the best possible way”,

he said.

In addition to the president of Amazonastur, the ceremony for the delivery of the body’s actions was attended by the mayor of Boa Vista do Ramos, Eraldo Trindade.

Natu, the mascot of Amazonian tourism, will present all the functions of Amazonas to go. Access is available 24 hours a day, using the QR Code or even on posters scattered around the main tourist attractions in Amazonas.
