PIS/Pasep: bonus will be paid from this Monday – 05/15/2023 – Market

The Ministry of Labor and Employment releases this Monday (15) the payment of the fourth batch of the PIS/Pasep wage bonus this year. There are more than 4.4 million workers born in July and August or with the final digit 4 and 5 on the Pasep card entitled to the benefit.

It will also be the first batch with the readjusted value, after the increase in the minimum wage to R$ 1,320, announced by the Lula government on May 1st.

Beneficiaries will be entitled to amounts between R$ 110 and R$ 1,320, depending on the number of months worked in 2021, the base year of payment. In total, the government will transfer R$ 4.4 billion in this Monday’s lot.

PIS will be paid to 3.9 million people born in July and August who work in the private sector. Payment will be made by Caixa Econômica Federal.

Already 545.2 thousand public sector workers with registration with digits ending in 4 or 5 will be entitled to Pasep, paid by Banco do Brasil.

Who is entitled to the benefit?

The worker who, in the base year of 2021, is entitled to the PIS/Pasep allowance:

• Performed paid activity with a formal contract for at least 30 days in 2021
• Received up to two minimum wages, on average
• You have been enrolled in the PIS/Pasep for at least five years
• Had their data correctly informed by the employer in Rais and eSocial

2. Log in with your CPF and password registered on the Portal Gov.br. If you have not registered, you can do so on this site.
3. On the home screen, click on “Abono Salarial – Consult”. If the option does not appear, click on the menu at the bottom of the screen, then on “Benefits and Salary Allowance”
4. On the next page, information about amounts receivable will appear.
