Manaus (AM) – A bus from the Pink October campaign, from the company Eucatur, will be installed at the Queiroz store, located on Avenida Djalma Batista, this Friday (6), from 9am to 11am. The car will be parked at the location and health professionals will offer guidance to the female public.

Held worldwide this month, the Pink October campaign seeks to raise women’s awareness about prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer, factors that increase the chances of a cure and reduce mortality.

The psychologist responsible for the action, Juliana Rezende, from Eucatur, explains that health professionals will reinforce information about the importance of routine exams, including touching the breast to identify changes. They will also talk about breast cancer treatment and how to access support networks.

Juliana highlights that the partnership with Grupo Queiroz is a way to reach as many people as possible. “The store where the bus will be installed is located on one of the city’s main avenues, with a large flow of people. This will allow us to access a very wide audience,” she adds.

According to the Queiroz Group’s Human Resources Manager, Ruyter Ferro, information is the best way to help prevent breast cancer and other diseases as well.

“Our proposal is to encourage the general public, but especially women who are the focus of the Pink October campaign, to get to know each other and take periodic exams”, he reinforces.
