Photographic exhibition has free entry in Manaus

Manaus (AM) – This Thursday, November 9th, starting at 10am, Shopping Manaus ViaNorte will host the photographic exhibition “Contemporary Phenomenological Experience”, produced by 3rd year students at Escola Estadual de Tempo Integral (EETI) Prof. Lecita Fonseca Ramos . The exhibition will take place on the 1st floor, next to Lojas Americanas, with completely free entry.
The exhibition brings together photographs made with natural and artificial light, with artistic-creative images and personal themes of the students. The idea was born after students carried out research in the classroom on Documentary Photography and watched the work “Os Pilares da Fotografia”, with photographer and visual artist, Rafael Rodrigues. After that, they moved on to practices with natural light, artificial light and mixed use of techniques.
For Silvia Lúcia Viana, Arts teacher and curator of the exhibition, the objective is to consolidate the formation of competence three of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC): valuing and enjoying the various artistic and cultural manifestations, from local to global, and also participate in diverse practices of artistic-cultural production.
“From this, students use different languages such as artistic, verbal, corporal and philosophical in a single context. To the same extent that it leads to a greater appreciation of social and cultural aspects, the student also identifies himself as an active subject of the process”,
explains the teacher.
The exhibition is supported by the FAMETRO University Center, the Court of Auditors of the State of Amazonas (TCE-AM) and the Government of the State of Amazonas, through the Secretariat of Education and School Sports (SEDUC-AM), and will continue until the next Friday, the 17th.
Shopping Manaus ViaNorte is located at Av. Arquiteto José Henrique Bento Rodrigues, 3760, Monte das Oliveiras – North Zone.
