The Citizens’ Emergency Service (PAC) units also offer banking and mailing services at units in the capital. Held by the Department of Justice, Human Rights and Citizenship (Sejusc), in partnership with private and state bodies, services are provided from Monday to Friday.
Services are provided by company professionals, on a first-come, first-served basis, the hours for the state agency being from 8 am to 4 pm, and for the bank from 8 am to 3 pm. There is no need for an appointment.
Bradesco services are present in the north zone of Manaus, in the Sumaúma shopping unit, and in the PACs in the municipalities of Manacapuru and Parintins. And the Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company, or simply Post Office, has posts in the center-south, north and west zones, with PAC Parque 10, Sumaúma and Compensa units.
In banking service, citizens can authenticate documents in partnership with the State Department of Transit of Amazonas (Detran), pay IPVA and Detran fines, in addition to withdrawals and consultations via ATM.
At Correios, it is possible to change registration and regularization of the Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF), sending letters, packages, and other products to national and international destinations, in addition to payments, taxes, titles, concessionaires, DARF and DPVAT insurance.
