North Region registers increase of 0.17% for gasoline, points out Ticket Log

The region had the highest average price in the country for both fuels

The last analysis of the Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL) showed that, at the end of June, a liter of ethanol was traded at R＄ 4.76, down 0.42% compared to the first half of June. Gasoline closed at R$5.91, after rising 0.17% compared to the first half of the month.

“During the period, the North Region recorded the highest average price in the country for both fuels. Gasoline was considered the most advantageous option for fueling the entire region. However, it is worth noting that ethanol is ecologically more advantageous for supply, as it is capable of considerably reducing the emissions of gases responsible for climate change”,

points out Douglas Pina, General Director of Mobility at Edenred Brasil.

The IPTL is a fuel price index based on fueling carried out at the 21,000 accredited Ticket Log stations, which is highly reliable due to the number of vehicles managed by the brand: 1 million in all, with an average of eight transactions per second.
