Nautical fair in Amazonas should generate R$ 35 million in new business

Barco Show Amazonas will be a boat fair that should move the nautical sector in the North region

Manaus (AM) – With more than 40,000 kilometers of inland waterways, nautical leisure options are growing more and more in Brazil. According to data from the Brazilian Association of Boat Builders and Implements (Acobar), out of every 10 boats, seven sail on rivers, lakes or ponds. In the North region, bathed by the great Amazonian rivers, the Barco Show Amazonas is taking place for the first time, a boat fair that should move the nautical sector, with a projection of generating R$ 35 million in business. One of the largest boat manufacturers in South America in terms of units produced, Fibrafort, has already confirmed its presence at the event with four models from the renowned Focker speedboat line.

The public passing by the event will be able to see up close the models Focker 255 GTO, 272 GTC, Focker 333 Gran Tourism and the biggest model produced by the brand which is the F420 Gran Coupé.

Recognized as the biggest nautical event in the North of Brazil, the Barco Show Amazonas expects to receive more than 10,000 visitors during the four days of the event.

The fair will also have a diversified program, which includes exhibitions of vessels from 18 to 40 feet, accessories and equipment. The initiative is sponsored by the Government of the State of Amazonas, through the State Tourism Company of Amazonas (Amazonastur).
