The script also includes another song associated with other singers – especially Barracão (Luiz Antônio and Oldemar Magalhães, 1952), a samba identified in national memory with the song of Elizeth Cardoso (1920 – 1990) – but which was also recorded and sung by Virginia Lane. At the end of the fluent scene of the musical A vedete do Brasil, a show shaped for the brilliance of Suely Franco, the actress Flávia Monteiro – interpreter of Marta, daughter of Vírginia – also appears characterized as a singer and star of the golden age of revue theater.
