According to a survey by the Commercial Association of São Paulo (ACSP), prepared by PiniOn, about 10.8% of people intend to buy a cell phone, tablet, notebook or computer as a gift for Mother’s Day.

But lower-cost tech gifts can also be a good choice for the date, with a wide variety of devices catering to different needs and preferences. Wireless headphones, smart bracelets and ultra-fast chargers are some of the options available from R$150.

WIRELESS HEADPHONES

Wireless headphones are a practical and versatile gift option. Models vary in aspects such as sound quality and battery life, which also result in a wide range of prices.

Software developer and technology content producer Adriana Saty recommends the JBL Tune 215BT for its sound quality and practicality. The battery lasts 16 hours, with a two-hour charge time.

In the official Xiaomi store, the bracelet is found for BRL 599.99, but Saty indicates that the average price is usually BRL 250. On Amazon, the value is BRL 223. She also recommends buying the film, to protect the display.

ULTRA-FAST CHARGER

If your mom is one of those people who is always running around with her phone back and forth, an ultra-fast charger might come in handy. Saty points out that 20W chargers charge the cell phone much faster than normal, and that some even allow charging two devices at the same time.

There are models whose entry varies, and it is important to consider what type of fitting is required for the cable that will be used.
