This Sunday, the 16th, chef and presenter Dona Carmem Vírginia will serve the menu, named “As Águas de Oxum” at her new restaurant Altar Cozinha Ancestral, located in Vila Madalena. The three-course menu begins with Iyalodê, vatapá croquette with shrimp mayonnaise and chayote pickle tartar.
Shrimp Maricotinha style (photo), with honey, pepper and palm oil over milk beans and warm pumpkin salad comes next. The meal ends with dessert Prayer to Mãe Menininha, made with golden banana, butter cheese cubes and quindim ice cream. The menu will be available during lunch and dinner this Sunday for BRL 220 per person or BRL 300 with wine pairing. The à la carte menu will also be available on the day. On the 18th, chef Renzo Garibaldi will lead the event “In case of fire, stay” at his Incendio restaurant, located in Pinheiros, with a team of 10 chefs preparing recipes over the fire throughout the entire night. There will be ten dishes served at prices ranging from R$ 35 to R$ 50 (tasting portion). Among the participants, names like Jefferson Rueda, Tuca Mezzomo, Saulo Jennings, Beethoven Picui and Lucas Corazza. Admission is free and reservations are not required. The Incendio is at Rua dos Pinheiros, 808 and the event will take place from 5 pm.
And it’s getting ready! At the end of the month, the 11th Edition of the Gastronomic Arraial of Projeto Buscapé takes place, an institution that helps children in situations of social vulnerability on the north coast of São Paulo and that this year will also help victims of the storm that left thousands homeless on the north coast of São Paulo. São Paulo earlier this year.
There will be 80 Brazilian chefs who will take their talent and solidarity to the north coast. Among them, Jefferson and Janaina Rueda, Telma Shiraishi, Tanea Romão, Tássia Magalhães, Edinho Engel, Ivan Santinho, Vinícius Rojo, Gil Gondim, Flávio Miyamura, Benny Novak, Pedro Roxo, Marcelo Correia Bastos, Renata Vanzetto and many others.
The festival will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of July (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), from 7 pm to midnight at the Camburi Football Field (Rua Olimpio Faustino nº 42, Camburi – São Sebastião).
