New release has the sound of a Chris Brown classic
Singers Melody and Naldo Benny were accused of plagiarism after releasing their new work, the song entitled Love, love. Reproducing the sound of the song Kiss Kiss, by Chris Brown, the release generated revolt in MC Thammy, who accused the duo of plagiarism.
Manifesting himself on social media, Thammy posted a story saying: “Any similarity is purely coincidental”. In the following post, she continues: “Happy to be an inspiration for several artists who are releasing music very similar to what we already released.”
Two months ago, MC Thammy released a song called ‘Tu vai me ver no paredão’, which also featured the sound of Chris Brown’s song, but only the new version by Melody and Naldo had authorization from the artist to use the sample.
