MC IG presents original album that includes posthumous partnership with MC Kevin

The album ‘Everybody Hates IG’ comes out on March 21st with seven new tracks, recorded by the artist with guests such as Poze do Rodo, Ryan SP and Veigh. ♪ Seven months after the release of the album Meu nome não é Igor % (2023), released on August 31st of last year, MC IG from São Paulo presents on March 21st his second album on the Warner Music label, Everybody Hates IG. The title of the album alludes to the North American TV series Everybody Hates Chris (2005 / 2009), whose name also served as inspiration for Rio de Janeiro funk artist MC Kevin O Chris to name the album Everybody Loves Chris (2021). On the album Everybody Hates IG, the MC – born Guilherme Sérgio Ramos Gustavo, but also known as Igor Guilherme – features seven new songs in his entirely original repertoire. The first track to be revealed, the trap funk Diz aí que é o plano?, arrived in the world today, March 7th, in a single with a 12-minute recording that brings together MC IG with MC GH from 7, MC GP, MC Luki, MC Nego Micha, MC PH, MC Poze do Rodo, MC Ryan SP, Oruam and Traplaudo. The musical production is by DJ Murillo and LT no Beat. Next Thursday, March 14th, the single will be released with the track Só mais um copo, recorded by IG without guests. In addition to these two tracks, the album Everybody loves IG will feature the songs That’s it, baby, it’s right! (recorded by MC IG with MC Ryan SP and MC PH), Goodnight girl 3, TMOIG (track made with the participation of DJ Glenner), Deus, por favor – posthumous partnership between IG and MC Kevin (1998 – 2021), also signed by MC PH – and Being single is in fashion / Hello girl (track in which Veigh appears). To promote the album Everybody Hates IG, MC IG created a miniseries in five chapters to be shown on the artist’s official Instagram profile with scenes that make references to situations and plots from the aforementioned miniseries Everybody Hates Chris.
