Manaus (AM) – The project “Talent Without Borders: the development of Venezuelan professionals and their insertion in the Brazilian job market”, carried out by the Civil Society Organization (OSC) Hermanitos, is one of the finalists for the Human Being Award – Ozeneide Casanova Nogueira, which will take place next Friday, October 27th, in Guarulhos (SP).

Granted by the Brazilian Association of Human Resources (ABRH-Brazil), the award values ​​the best initiatives, nationally, in People Management inside and outside organizations, as well as those that encourage creative thinking and new talents.

Hermanitos is competing in the “Development” category, with the project that emphasizes social entrepreneurship in the training and insertion of migrant professionals and Venezuelan refugees in the Brazilian job market. The document was prepared by the coordinator of the “Mujeres Fuertes” Project, Ana Vasconcelos, the project director, Anderson Mattos, and the institution’s president director, Tulio Duarte.

Hermanitos’ “Talent Bank” is a platform that brings together more than three thousand CVs from professionals in different areas and provides qualification courses that contribute to the development of these professionals, as well as guidance on the job market and preparation for interviews. It also promotes awareness among companies about offering vacancies and including Venezuelan professionals. All of this through a flow that enabled the inclusion of more than 700 professionals in the job market.

One of Hermanitos’ prominent projects, “Jóvenes en Acción”, aimed at employability, focuses on Venezuelan teenagers and young people. The initiative works to provide professional qualifications so that they can access learning programs, generating the opportunity for their first professional experience. The journey lasts approximately three months and includes several essential courses for an excellent professional, such as IT, interpersonal skills, financial education, as well as vocational guidance and a Portuguese course.

In August, the institution also came second in the “Development” category of the Human Being Award, during the 20th Amazon Human Resources Congress (CONAMARH), held in Manaus.

The president director of Hermanitos, Tulio Duarte, highlights that the achievement is the result of joint and persistent action.

“We have been paving this path for years and fighting to include our Venezuelan brothers in current affairs. We are very happy with this award, because it shows us that we are on the right path and brings visibility to the potential of refugee professionals to contribute to the Brazilian economy”,
