Manaus (AM) – Manaus City Hall, through the Municipal Foundation of Culture, Tourism and Events (Manauscult), supports 24 events this weekend, 7/14, 15 and 16. Among them, the Folkloric Festivals of the Neighborhoods, festivities and July festivities lead the program.
According to the director-president of Manauscult, Osvaldo Cardoso, supporting neighborhood festivals is a way for the city hall to offer entertainment to the population, without the need for them to leave their neighborhoods and, above all, to give opportunities to local entrepreneurs.
“In addition to offering entertainment and fun to people who attend the festivals, Manaus City Hall, through Manauscult, also enables entrepreneurs to generate income for families and move the local economy”, he pointed out.
Among the 23 events, the Praise “Nights of Adoration” stands out, on Saturday, 7/15, starting at 5 pm, at Avenida Praia do Futuro, 162, Parque Solimões, Tarumã district, West zone. Following the religious line, still on Saturday, there is the 2nd Arraial Gospel Absai, on Rua Figueirense, Cidade de Deus, North zone, with a forecast to start at 6 pm.
On Sunday, the 16th, the highlight is the 3rd Arraiá Du Povo, which takes place on Rua Jupurutu, in the Alvorada 2 neighborhood, in the Midwest zone.
