Manaus has 74 vaccination points against Covid-19

Manaus (AM) – The City of Manaus continues vaccination against Covid-19, making the vaccine available in 74 units of the Municipal Health Department (Semsa), from Tuesday to Friday (21) Saturday (24) November, respectively . The population can search for the addresses and opening hours of the units at the link bit.ly/localvacinacovid19.

The Undersecretary of Health Management, Djalma Coelho, informs that of the 74 health establishments, nine operate with extended opening hours, from 8am to 8pm or until 9pm, to allow users the alternative of getting vaccinated outside business hours.

Djalma Coelho points out that the vaccine against Covid-19 was decisive in preventing the spread of the virus and reducing the severity of the infection caused by the new coronavirus.

“Keeping the vaccination schedule up to date is the best way to prevent the virus from spreading and preventing people from developing severe forms of the disease and needing hospitalization. Therefore, we call on everyone to get vaccinated to guarantee individual and collective protection”,

assured.

To receive the vaccine, it is necessary to present an official identity document with a photo, CPF or Unified Health System (SUS) Card.

Of the 74 health units in operation this week, 14 are dedicated to vaccinating babies aged six to four months, and 35 aimed at children aged five to 11 years.

The doses and deadlines for receiving vaccines against Covid-19 can be consulted on the Imuniza Manaus platform (imuniza.manaus.am.gov.br), just providing the CPF number.
